Training / 01 — Knowledge with context

Ground
school.

The knowledge half of the licence — taught the way pilots actually use it: in small groups, out loud, and always connected to your next hour in the air.

Ground school / 01 — every dial, explained before you need it

Ground school runs two evenings a week for six weeks. Each session ends with a simple promise: everything you learned tonight, you’ll touch in the airplane within days.

No lectures to a silent room. We work problems together — weather charts, weight and balance, airspace puzzles — until the knowledge feels like yours.

What’s included

12 sessions

Module A

Aircraft & aerodynamics

How wings, engines and instruments actually work — taught on real hardware, not slides.

Module B

Weather & airspace

Reading the sky, decoding forecasts, and knowing exactly where you may — and may not — fly.

Module C

Navigation & radio

Charts, flight planning and confident radio calls, practised live with our instructors.

The arc

Brief · practise · test

  1. Weeks 1–2: foundations

Aerodynamics and aircraft systems. You’ll pre-flight a real airplane in week one and know every part you touch.

  2. Weeks 3–4: the world outside

Weather theory and airspace rules, paired with your first dual flights so the sky confirms the classroom.

  3. Weeks 5–6: put it together

Cross-country planning, radio work and mock written exams until you pass comfortably — then you sit the real one.
